Things to Do in the Grenadines
Make time to visit the Owia Salt Pond located in the North Eastern coast of nearby St Vincent. The waves lapping over the volcanic rock formations are wonderfully refreshing and the pool is home to reef fish and coral formations. As the pool is protected from the waves of the sea by volcanic rock boulders, the experience is extremely peaceful.
Go whale watching across an endless landscape of azure sea. The waters are home to dolphins, sperm whales, hump back whales and pilot whales. Also visit the Old Hegg Turtle Sanctuary for a glimpse of these magical creatures.

Weather in the Grenadines
The climate here is tropical and there are but two seasons – the rainy season and the dry season, with the dry season running from 1st November to the 1st June. June does tend to be the wettest month and April the driest. Whilst the temperature does vary throughout the islands (with St Vincent being fractionally cooler than the Grenadines) the temperature doesn’t vary drastically and remains blissfully warm all year round with January boasting an average daily temperature of 29°C and July averaging 30°C.

Scuba Diving in the Tobago Cays
You’ll find this breathtaking smattering of cays and islets just south of St Vincent. Not only beautiful above the surface, the Tobago Cays promise a rich bevy of marine delights underwater and it’s not hard to see why this is one of the most celebrated diving spots in the world.
With protected marine park status, nature has been allowed to flourish here. Divers can delight at the myriad of vibrant corals, rainbow-hued shoals of fish, spiny lobsters, and gently gliding turtles.
St Vincent Botanical Gardens
The Botanical Gardens are a delightful attraction situated in Kingstown, St Vincent & the Grenadines. The gardens have been in operation conserving rare plant species since 1765, making these some of the oldest botanical gardens in the Western Hemisphere and maybe the oldest in the tropical world.
Native and exotic plants fill around 20 acres of grounds. You’ll find species like cinnamon, nutmeg, hibiscus, and palm trees. Even learn a little about indigenous birds when you admire the St Vincent parrot at the onsite aviary.
Sugar Reef Cafe Bequia
