Sanya Holidays
A port city often referred to as the ‘South Gate of China’, a holiday to Sanya invariably involves a close relationship with the sea. On the southernmost point of the island of the Hainan Province, it is actually situated not far from the coast of Vietnam to the west. It’s harbours and river have played important roles in China’s economy throughout history and play their part again nowadays through Sanya’s tourist trade.
The tropical beachfront setting is quite different from anywhere else in China, and Sanya is somewhat of a cultural melting pot. Its beaches are widely considered the finest in China, and its beautiful bays draw many visitors.
