Your arrival is an instant welcome to relaxation as the Island Manager greets you with a cool towel, canapés and refreshing drink. Your villa will a tropical home away from home, and one you’ll never want to leave. The 25 villas on the northwest tip of the island are nestled amongst the wild green vegetation and are steps away from the softest, whitest sand you will ever see.
Privately owned by a family that have invested in sustainable tourism, their mission is to conserve Denis Island’s natural beauty and protect its unique charm. The island uses organic methods for rearing their own cattle, and growing their own fruits and vegetables in fertile soil, ensuring the most fresh, delicious ingredients for their guests. Fish is caught in their own waters and eggs and milk are all fresh from their animals. For sumptuous spa treatments, the islands uses its own coconuts for massage oil and fine sand from the beaches. Denis island’s has also invested into the use of photo-voltaic solar array (the country’s largest private renewable energy investment) which will continuously reduce and eventually eliminate the island’s reliance on diesel power.
Unlike most retreats, this island has no paved roads and no televisions, just meandering paths and the sounds of nature. The clear-as-crystal waters are idyll for a day of sunbathing, and even better for scuba diving and exploring the magical reefs. The hotel’s pool also offers a tranquil setting for those looking to sit back and relax on their holiday to the Seychelles. With the slow pace of life, take a stroll around the island’s dense woods, check out the Old Village craft workshops, visit the farm or the giant tortoise colony or enjoy a few games of tennis or snooker in the Library. Please note: This is a kind reminder to note that the luggage allowance for flights to and from Denis Private Island is 15KG per person only. This is inclusive of all types of luggage a client may be carrying. We recommend that clients travelling to Denis Private Island carry soft luggage (checked luggage) and should they have hand luggage this should be a small light handbag only.

The cottages are also equipped with an extended sea facing private deck with sala and day bed. Beach Cottage
Individual cottages 90 sqm in size each characterised with sea facing verandah featuring a private beachfront with sun loungers and chairs.
The Beach cottages have a private garden courtyard with separate entrance to the open air bathroom featuring an alfresco shower.

Beachfront Spa Cottage
These individual villas are 150m² in size and have a private beachfront with sun lounges and chairs. The courtyard features a separate entrance leading to an alfresco shower and an in room wellness pavilion. The cottages are also equipped with an extended sea facing private deck and a sala and daybed.

Beach Villa
This luxury villa has a private beachfront and is 325m² in size; it has an extensive outdoor living and relaxation area with a private courtyard featuring twin alfresco showers. The villa will soon feature a sala and daybed, plunge pool, lounge, dining area, barbecue, massage and wellness zone. Whether it is breakfast in bed or romantic candle-lit dinner on the beach - the night sky your only roof, an intimate table for two on the deck of your own villa, or dinner in the terrace dining room, the refined cuisine of Denis Private Island is nothing short of tantalizing.
The Chef prepares daily the most succulent dishes, creative and extensive buffets with live cooking stations fresh from the island’s estate and fished from the surrounding seas for breakfast and lunch. And in the evenings, Creole speciality night, barbecues on the beach, sushi and sashimi prepared from the day’s catch. Or elegantly- presented five-course table d’hôte dinners in the dining room or around the pool deck.
In the Wine Cellar, another journey begins. The inventory of fine New and Old World wines is carefully selected and yours to choose from. The perfect setting for a degustation with friends or for an intimate dinner for two.
Before and after dinner, staying open well into the night, the well-stocked bar provides the meeting point for a tête-à-tête or to get to know your fellow guests.
