Last November was a treat. Our Indian Ocean experts hand-crafted a tour to the sun-kissed sands of Mauritius especially for the Taylor Morris eyewear founders Hugo Taylor and Charlie Morris. The sunglasses aficionados brought their friends too: superstars, models and socialites Millie Mackintosh, Zara Martin, Alicia Rountree, Sarah Mikaela and Toby Huntington-Whitely. Shangri-La’s Le Touessrok Resort & Spa
The group began their journey by checking into Shangri-La’s Le Touessrok Resort & Spa. Here, they delighted in activities offered by the resort which included paddle boarding, cooking classes and more. The boys tried their hand at Krav Maga (self-defense classes), whilst Alicia Rountree and Zara Marin were in their element for the resort’s tranquil yoga sessions.
Pristine beachfront luxury. Shangri-La’s Le Tousserok was a seaside sanctuary for Taylor Morris on their Mauritius holiday.
Our team of models made sure to make the most of the sun by relaxing on the resort’s beach. But the group weren’t set on hanging around all day either, which led to an adventure through the quaint Mauritius towns and villages. During their journeys, they discovered a host of idyllic island sights including Port Louis Market and Mauritius’s heavenly Ile Aux Cerfs island. Throw in a trip to the Seven Coloured Earths, and turtle reservation centre, and this was already shaping up to be an unforgettable holiday to Mauritius.

Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa
Following their Shangri-La visit, the glamorous group switched homes for the luxurious Trou Aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa. This is an upscale escape featuring a long white sandy beach, a lagoon with crystal-clear waters, and a 35-hectare tropical garden that encapsulates the beauty of Mauritius. This luxurious resort pampered their guests with a private plunge pool, sea-facing balcony and more. A perfect time for models Millie Mackintosh, Zara Martin, Alicia Rountree and Sarah Mikaela to strut their stuff.

Other essential sights the group visited during their holiday to Trou Aux Biches included a mesmerizing stroll through the Botanical Gardens, home of the famous pond-lilies, as well as a trip to Chateau de Labourdonnais, a fascinating museum and an architectural wonder located in Mapou. Oh, and let’s not forget the incredible helicopter tour taken by Toby Huntington-Whitely and Hugo Taylor – those were views to die for!
