New Hotels Around the World

As connoisseurs of fine hotels and refined resorts, here at Kenwood Travel we make it our daily duty to keep our collective finger firmly on the pulse of holiday accommodation. Week to week new hotels arrive on the global scene in destinations from Honolulu to Hong Kong, Barbados to Borneo.

With each new destination claiming to reinvent the wheel of ‘where’s best’, it’s our job to put them to the test. For us to feel that a new hotel is worthy of our customers, a strict checklist must be met. Increasingly slick and sophisticated marketing can sometimes be smoke and mirrors, so what do we look for? Where necessary we’ve learnt to look beyond the surface and get to the substance of what makes a new resort or hotel special. Family owned boutique resorts off the beaten track? We know the unique charm they can deliver. Sunkissed beachfront playgrounds of the jet-set? We understand the glamour and appeal of such escapes.

2013 was a big year for Kenwood Travel. The team traversed the globe visiting some amazing hotels. These ‘fam’ trips (short for ‘familiarisation’) are designed to allow our travel consultants to experience first hand the facilities and hospitality of the hotels we offer, and subsequently enable this knowledge to be passed on directly to our customers.

Last year we also expanded our already impressive list of properties and there’s no sign of slowing down in 2014. Each week we continue to welcome new hotels around the world into our fold and therefore give customers the peace of mind that when they click on Kenwood Travel, they get the best choice available. Below is a run down of our latest acquisitions – all due to open their doors this year. We’re hugely excited about these new hotels, and the many memorable holidays they’re sure to provide for our customers.
