Guana Island

Guana Island is one of the few remaining privately owned islands left in this beautiful corner of the Caribbean. This resort is quite simply the ultimate escape to paradise and boasts an impressive array of amenities to ensure a trip here will live long in the memory.

The rooms at Guana Island are resplendent and gifted with all the facilities needed to enjoy a relaxing stay. Private terraces preside over the calm blue oceans to give an absolute sense of calm while modern conveniences such as WiFi ensure guests stay connected to the outside world, that is if they want to of course.

White Bay Beach, one of seven private beaches belonging to the resort, has been described by Caribbean Travel & Life as “arguably the finest beach in the BVI” and is half a mile of unspoilt perfection. The other six beaches can be accessed either via boat or one of 26 hiking trails that dot the island, making them ideal locations for secluded picnics.

The Spa at White Bay is always on hand to provide guests with lavish massages to help unwind tired bodies. The spa has a range of oils for you to choose from when it comes to your treatments, from soothing Cucumber Mango to Grapefruit. To re-energise tired skin be sure to try the spa’s body wrap treatment which activates the beneficial properties of mud from the Dead Sea.

The resort’s dining terraces overlook the sea and put on buffets that ensure guests receive a varied and delicious meal at both breakfast and lunch. When dinnertime arrives fresh seafood is served as well as fruit and vegetables grown in the resort’s own gardens. For a delectable cocktail head to the Queen’s Terrace, named for when the Queen Mother visited the island in 1964.
