Hoi An Ancient Town
Named a UNESCO site in 1999 for its excellent preservation, you can soak up all the culture and history of this 15th century trading port. From visiting the infamous market to exploring the regional dishes (white rose dumplings and cao lau), to riding down the Thu Bon River, there are endless activities to keep you occupied in one of the most historical towns in Vietnam.
Cham Islands
Just a 30-minute boat ride from Hoi An, the Cham Islands are a cluster of 8 islands, with serene white beaches and crystal clear waters. My Son Sanctuary
My Son was constructed between the 4th and 14th century and was the historic heartland of the Champa Kingdom, which once consisted of 70 Hindu temples, now reduced to 20 ruins. It was named a UNESCO heritage site in 1999, as it represents the importance of the spiritual and political history of the area, and is a perfect example of cultural interchange.
