My Son Sanctuary

My Son was constructed between the 4th and 14th century and was the historic heartland of the Champa Kingdom, which once consisted of 70 Hindu temples, now reduced to 20 ruins. It was named a UNESCO heritage site in 1999, as it represents the importance of the spiritual and political history of the area, and is a perfect example of cultural interchange.
