The central volcano feature, Krakatau, cascades water by day and lava effects by night. Bring the magic of the movies to life at Universal Studios. Imagine becoming one of the Minions from Despicable Me, embark on daring action sequences in Disaster! A Major Motion Picture, take the helm as an alien-chasing agent in Men In Black Alien Attack, or help out John Conner and the Terminator in such trivialities as saving the world. Or you could just get some good old-fashioned theme park thrills from the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit rollercoaster. And why see a show when the world’s finest entertainment park brings you show stoppers? Call his name three times and out Beetlejuice, the ‘freelance bio-exorcist’ leads an ensemble of Hollywood ghouls in a spooktacular underworld show. Or perhaps join Blues Brothers Jake and Elwood as they take the streets of Illinois by storm. Sweet Home Chicago, Everybody Needs Somebody, and all those stomping rock and roll classics from Rock Island City, Illinois, are played for you, live and direct from the city streets.

Universal's Islands of Adventure™

Discover some of the world’s most technologically mind-bending theme park rides at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man ride is spread over a 1.5 acres of land where for the first time motion-based ride cars, High Definition 3D film and live action are combined. Don’t miss the vertigo-inducing Doctor Doom’s Fearfall, where ride goers rocket 150 feet in the air and immediately dropped back to Earth. For bone-crunching thrills this ride never fails. Live an adventure 65 million years in the making at the Jurassic Park River Adventure. Your river raft ambles along a calm jungle tour of prehistoric creatures before you steer wildly off course into the Raptor Containment Area. The power fences are down and raptors are on the hunt. Then there’s only a T-Rex to deal with before you’re flung down the final rapids. Be sure to take the younger kids through the zany world of Dr Seuss. The classic carousel gets a Dr. Seuss twist – the Caro-Seuss-el! Jump aboard the Cat In The Hat or ride The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride to complete a hat trick of utterly bonkers fun. Meanwhile budding young palaeontologists will find in Jurassic Park the Pteranodon Flyers, suspending you below the wings of a Pteranodon and soaring over the Camp Jurassic Play Area. At Islands of Adventure, everyone is catered for.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ - The newest addition to the Islands of Adventure family, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter lets you enter the world of Harry, taking you along the dank streets of Hogsmeade. Buy your wizard’s wand at Ollivanders before embarking on the Forbidden Journey through the classrooms and corridors of Hogwarts, before taking to the sky with Harry’s friends. Choose one of two rollercoasters (each a different journey) on the Dragon Challenge as you weave your way through this high-octane chase. Fledgling wizards can try the Flight of the Hippogriff, and check out fantastic events to watch like the Triwizard Spirit Rally and the Frog Choir. Enjoy the ultimate thrill when you jump aboard Diagon Alley: Harry Potter And The Escape From Gringotts. This incredible attraction takes you to the moment when Harry, Hermione and Ron break into Gringotts bank in the Harry Potter films. You’ve seen all the action onscreen, now it's time for you and your little ones to be part of it. Universal’s creative team has worked closely with the production team from the films to create this attraction. Harry Potter And The Escape From Gringotts uses some of the most innovative technology available including 360-degree themed sets, 4K digital high-definition animation, 3D Infitec projection systems and live special effects.

Universal CityWalk Orlando™ - CityWalk is Universal’s entertainment and shopping district, a bustling place lying opposite the theme parks and resorts. With over 30 cafes and restaurants, a 19-screen cinema with IMAX, seven nightclubs and over 30 retail stores, there’s little space to be bored.
