Set within 60 acres of completely unspoilt land and flourishing vegetation, the Constance Le Prince Maurice is a beautiful island retreat. Things to do at Constance Prince Maurice
The property also plays host to some of the finest golf courses in the region. The Legend is one such course. It was designed by South African champion Hugh Baiocchi and features brand new purpose-built greens designed to USPGA standards. If after getting around the Legend you still have not satisfied your golfing needs, you can always head to the hotel's second course, Belle Mare Plage. It measures some 5,942 sqm and was designed by Rodney Wright and Peter Allis. It’s not just golfers the hotel caters for though, the resort also features a private swimming pool, a games room and a spa and fitness centre. Children are also looked after with daily activities from 9am to 9pm making it the ideal Mauritius holiday destination. Regardless of regional differences in cuisine, Constance's philosophy of food embraces nature's diversity and serves beautifully crafted food through fresh produces, innovative techniques and a harmony of flavours. This sushi bar has fresh sushi and other Japanese food to be appreciated.
L'archipel
L' Archipel restaurant, located in the main building, overlooks the pool and the beach. In an elegant setup, opened on nature and water basins, it offers an à la carte menu with light, spicy flavoured gourmet food. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. An Asian Theme Evening serving a fantastic selection of Japanese, Thai, Chinese, Indonesian and Indian cuisine. There will also be a slight Mauritian influence - for example there is Mauritian-flavoured Maki as a starter.
Laguna Bar
Overlooking the main pool and facing our lagoon, the Laguna bar offers a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy light snacks during day time and special drinks.
Le Barachois
Le Barachois enjoys a spectacular preserved setting on the lagoon and a panoramic view of a mountain range. Its entrance via a snaking gangplank through the mangrove trees adds a magic spell to the place. This floating restaurant, unique on the island, is open for dinner and offers daily specials including grills, seafood and Mauritian delicacies.
Lounge Bar
The comfort and intimacy of the Lounge Bar are ideal for an aperitif before dinner or an after dinner temptation. Enjoy the signature cocktail "Splendour of the Prince".
