Criollo Restaurant

New Orleans in its soul is a true blending of many cultures. The European influences, namely Spanish, Italian and French, coupled with prominent contributions of Caribbean and African heritage, have produced one of America’s greatest indigenous cuisines, Creole.Fashioned with Louisiana and the Gulf South region’s abundant bounty of fresh, home grown products from the land and sea, Criollo’s ingredient-driven seasonal menu is designed to offer creative dishes inspired by culinary traditions and an appreciation of today’s contemporary tastes.

The Carousel Bar & Lounge

The famous Carousel Bar & Lounge in Hotel Monteleone is a long-time favorite New Orleans hotspot. The classic New Orleans hotel bar is the city’s only revolving bar. For decades, it has lured guests in to take a spin on the 25-seat, bright, circus-clad Merry-Go-Round. Recently, Vogue Living named this bar one of the Top 20 Bars in the World, due in equal parts to the whimsical revolving carousel and comprehensive list of cocktails. Vogue recommends Sazerac, although the cocktail menu has plenty of other enticing options.
