Located right next to one of the world’s largest aquatic parks, Mission Bay, the Catamaran Resort in San Diego is full of hidden gardens and exotic plant life just waiting to be explored. The hotel is surrounded by over 1,00 types of plants, palm trees and about 30 types of hibiscus.

Each of the resort’s 313 expansive rooms are tastefully appointed and have their own balcony while the Pacific Ocean is just 100 yards away.  The resort is close to all local attractions including internationally famous theme parks like SeaWorld and Legoland while for those who love wildlife Mission Bay Park is the place to go. Guests can even enjoy complimentary cruises on the Bahia Belle which is a gorgeous Mississippi-style boat with live music and DJs.

Stretching across 4,000 acres and taking in some 27 miles of coastline and 18 sand-soaked beaches perfect for swimming in the park is filled with exotic plant and wildlife. It is busy all year round and also features cooking events, playgrounds and a whole lot more.

The hotel itself also offers a variety of facilities, which include a swimming pool, fitness centre and Kid’s Camp. It caters for business events and weddings aswell, in its 14 function rooms all with stunning scenic views and patios.

Garden View Suite



Located on the lower level floors of the tower, this suite offers peaceful views of the resort’s tropical garden paradise. The bedroom area includes 1 king bed, HD TV, walk-in closet, full-size tub with shower and a balcony or patio. The suite’s separate living area has a pull-out sofa, an additional HD TV, a dining area, and another balcony or patio to enjoy. The suite also includes a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator, stove, oven, toaster, and microwave.

Bay Front Suite

Experience the best of beach living with the spacious signature bay front suites. Located in a 2-story building with direct access to Mission Bay’s beach and boardwalk, the suite’s bedroom includes 1 king or 2 double beds, HD TV, and a full-size tub with shower.
