Scenic has been a leader in the luxury travel industry for more than 35 years. The Australian company started with journeys down the Great Ocean Road before going international with tours to the US and eventually a fleet of luxury river ships. This was followed in 2019 by the launch of Scenic Eclipse, the company’s incredible mega-yacht.

Scenic operates on the major rivers of Europe. From the Danube and the Rhine to the Seine, Rhône, Saône and Douro. It also sails on the Mekong in southeast Asia, offering a truly luxurious way to sail between Cambodia and Vietnam. The food, service and suites are all to the highest standard - with the food offering being taken a step further on Scenic Eclipse, the company’s mega-yacht where guests can choose to dine in a French restaurant, a teppanyaki grill or a sushi restaurant - as well as many more.

Five facts about Scenic

Scenic Eclipse and Scenic Eclipse II both have two helicopters and one submarine onboard, allowing guests to see a destination from a totally unique viewpoint.
Scenic also offers incredible land tours around the world - and so is able to offer some very interesting pre- and post-cruise stays in most destinations.
The company’s mega yachts hold a maximum of 220 guests - who are spoilt for choice with 10 dining venues.
On its river cruises, Scenic offers Scenic Freechoice, giving guests a choice of included shore excursions for every port.
Scenic’s river ships on the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers, the Bordeaux waterways and the Rhône and Saône rivers feature a therapeutic salt therapy lounge - the only river company to have one onboard.
