Founded in 2001 by cruise industry legend Atle Brynestad, who also founded ultra-luxury cruise line Seabourn, SeaDream Yacht Club offers an incredibly relaxed form of luxury for its loyal guests. There aren’t many companies in the world that can offer a country club style atmosphere on a mega-yacht, after all. Guests can choose to spend their time in whatever way they choose. Whether that’s dining al fresco or using the ships’ water sports platform, it’s totally up to them. However, they choose to spend their days, one thing is guaranteed, they will do so while being looked after like they were on their own yacht.
The ships typically sail around the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, stopping at the smaller ports and marinas that the larger ships aren’t able to access. This means more overnight stays and more authentic experiences when out on land. It’s a chance to escape the crowds, get off the beaten track and get under the skin of a destination.
SeaDream Yacht Club is for those who would rather stay away from the big ships. If you don’t like the idea of cruising but yachting is something you can definitely get on board with, then SeaDream Yacht Club could be the perfect company for you.
With just two ships, SeaDream Yacht Club is limited with its itineraries and typically operates in the Caribbean in the winter and the Mediterranean in the summer. Occasionally the company does offer alternative sailings.
