- Pack for warm weather. The local climate can get very hot, so be sure to pack appropriately. However, you’ll also want to bring along appropriate cover-ups and more covering clothing to adhere to local standards of modesty, such as loose-fitting clothing that covers your arms and legs.

- Make yourself familiar with local laws. Some things may be common sense, but others – such as prohibition against taking pictures of bridges or other critical infrastructure – may be completely unexpected to the average traveller.
