Will my wedding abroad be legal in the UK?

Yes, your wedding will be legal under British Law, and you do not have to register it when you get back to the UK. Your wedding ceremony will be non-denominational. You must be 18 years or older to book a Sandals wedding package with Kenwood Travel, and unless otherwise stated, a civil wedding will be offered.

Can I get married abroad if I have been divorced?

Yes, all you need is your Decree Absolute, for which you must have the original document and take this with you when you travel.

What about my wedding dress? What's the best way to transport it?

Never fear! Most bridal shops will be well-versed in preparing for destination weddings and will carefully pack your dress in a either a specially designed travel box or cabin-carry on suitcase which fits in the overhead locker of the plane. Once you arrive at your hotel, we recommend hanging up your dress as soon as possible to allow any creases to drop. Your in-house wedding co-ordinator should also be able to provide a steamer should you need further assistance.

Can I get married on the beach?

Yes you can! Sandals has plenty of great beachside options, including a ceremony hosted directly on the beach in front of a rustic, flower-adorned arch, or in a pretty oceanfront gazebo with views over the glistening Caribbean Sea. Other options for your wedding include a unique Over-The-Water Wedding Chapel, dazzling Sky Terrace, or picturesque Garden Gazebo.

Will my wedding date and time be booked before I arrive?

Yes, your wedding date will be booked and all the necessary paperwork prepared before jetting off on your Sandals wedding.

Can my wedding guests be added to my booking?

Yes, we’d be happy to coordinate all your guests onto the same booking. With Sandals, the more rooms reserved, the more perks you can receive for your wedding – please see the above ‘premium perks’ section to see what’s available to claim.

We can also suggest nearby hotels should your guests wish to stay at different accommodation.

It is just going to be the two of us, will we need witnesses?

Witnesses will be required, but your in-resort wedding coordinator will arrange this for you.

Can I get my hair and make-up done in the hotel?

Sandals can arrange hair and make-up, as well as trials prior to your big day. Brides and grooms can also choose to indulge in a little pre-wedding pampering at the Sandals Red Lane Spa, offering a number of carefully designed spa packages for both men and women.

Can you also book my honeymoon?

Yes we can! With over fifty holiday destinations on our website to choose from, the possibilities are endless. You could relax at another Sandals Resort, go island-hopping around the Caribbean, or venture elsewhere across the globe for a multi-centre adventure to the USA?
