Located in the wine tasting facility of mont rochelle vineyards, the country kitchen offers relaxed dining, with the slant on mediterranean fare. The perfect spot for an al fresco lunch or cosy dinner. As described by richard holmes, “it might only be a few minutes drive away but it’s a world apart when it comes to soaking up the sights and sounds of the winelands.’’ Wine tasting can be conducted at restaurant tables - a perfect way to see which wine goes best with dishes ordered.

The grounds at Mont Rochellecover 39 hectares (about 100 acres) andyou’re welcome to go exploring or enjoy a picnic on the estate – the kitchen can arrange a well-stocked picnic basket with a chilled bottle of wine (or two!).There are two restaurants, a cosy bar, a spa,a gym and a heated outdoor pool.
