The Sanchaya

5* out of 5 stars

Evoking the true spirit of South East Asia, the Sanchaya’s conceptual design showcases the beauty, artistic culture and history of this spectacular corner of Indonesia, on the gorgeous island of Bintan. Welcome to your new world, just a short hop by ferry from Singapore, where a holiday of a lifetime unfolds before you.

The resort’s colonial architecture hints at the romantic eras past and this style harmonises with the interior design of the individual villas – each inspired by the native diversity and heritage of the area. Modern conveniences sit alongside beautiful décor and furnishings creating a balanced living space. Discover private verandas, walk-in closets, super-king beds, iPads and carefully chosen original artwork unique to each room: just some of the many excellent in-room facilities.

Delicious food and dedicated, attentive staff can turn a great holiday into a spectacular one, and Sanchaya Bintan steps up to the plate with distinction in these departments. All day dining means your own schedule is in charge. Tuck in to some Thai street food at Tasanee Grill, or go a la carte at the restaurant where market-fresh flavours and a vintage wine list truly impress. And, to wind down, why not savour a Martini while perusing a classic at the Library and Bar? At your service at the resort, coordinating your needs, are an efficient staff team that operate in a ‘companion-cum-concierge’ capacity.

Bintan is famous for its stretches of sugar-white beaches, dolphins diving through the glistening waves and tropical forestry. You may even spot a silver-leaf monkey swinging through the mangrove trees. All in all you’re in for a luxury holiday, facilitated by this remarkable resort, that will live long in the memory. Also offered by the hotel is an express immigration procedure in their own Sanchaya Lounge in Bintan, providing a completely hassle free way to process your entry into the country.
