Hyatt Ziva Cancun
Found on the tip of Punta Cancun, this resort holds the unique distinction of being flanked by the Caribbean Sea on three sides. The resort exudes a village style atmosphere with rooms connected to the beach by bridges and pathways that wind their way through serene gardens. The focal point of the resort is a large lagoon style pool with its very own swim-up bar.
All of the 547 rooms in the resort have fully furnished private balconies boasting views across either the gardens or the ocean. The rooms are styled with contemporary Caribbean décor and beautiful hand crafted furnishings. The marble bathrooms feel more akin to those found in a spa than a hotel room and feature rain effect showers replete with premium bath products. If you opt for a swim-up suite you'll be given direct access to one of the resort's three infinity pools.
Cuisine from all over the world is available across nine distinct restaurants. A taste of France can be savoured in La Bastille, a romantic adults only eatery perfect for a couple's gourmet dinner. Meanwhile dim sum, stir fries and everything in between provide a banquet fit for an Emperor at The Moongate Asian restaurant. No trip to Mexico is complete without trying its most famous exports. Juana Margarita? is home to a wide choice of tequilas served alongside spicy tacos and fresh ceviches. There are of course plenty of bars to choose from, many of which serve the resort's own brand beer produced at an on-site microbrewery.
The only ocean view spa in Cancun is found at this resort. Treatments are delivered across thirteen rooms and six beach palapas. There are also cold plunge pools, saunas, steam rooms and a massage waterfall to help you completely unwind. Little ones meanwhile are well catered for by Kidz Club, which features its own water park.
