There are also numerous activities available such as Hobie-cats, snorkelling and kayaking out at sea, as well as plenty of on-land activities such as working out in the modern cybex gym, golf, tennis and cycling. The resort boasts an open-air Yoga Pavillion that overlooks the idyllic Grand Anse Beach - perfect for a serene Caribbean retreat. Here guests can take part in private yoga sessions as well as classes from 6am to 5pm, focusing on Yin Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Gentle Flow, Restorative Styles, Therapeutic and Hatha Yoga. Retail therapy comes in the form of Grenada's sole designer shopping at the resort's 'Gatsby' boutiques. For the more adventurous types rainforest tours and sailing charters are available, both of which can be booked through the front desk. The excellent 'Aquanauts' also happens to be the best dive operation on the island.
As for honeymooners or those looking to tie the knot Spice Island Beach Resort offers a number of wedding and honeymoon packages to make the happiest day of your life, truly memorable. Those honeymooning at the resort for at least seven days receive a free Swedish massage, sunset cruise and delicious champagne. All of this, along with the friendly staff, beautiful scenery and relaxed atmosphere, is the reason that the Spice Island Resort is now a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World association.
Dress code is very casual during the day with cover-ups required over swim suits in public and dining areas. Dining at Oliver’s restaurant after 7pm is casual evening attire (trainers are not permitted.)
