Located in Boca Raton Florida, between Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach, one hour north of Miami and three hours south of Orlando, the recently refurbished Boca Beach Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort attempts to redefine the traditional beach resort with the contemporary idea of 'barefoot elegance'. The resort has been completely trasformed and offers guests expansive guestrooms and spectacular views of the ocean. This is two resorts, one experience as there is both a boat shuttle and vehicle shuttle that takes guests from the Boca Beach Club to the Boca Baton Resort and back.
The resort provides a remarkably diverse array of activities for those who choose to stay at the resort. Quest Club, for instance, provides an expanded children's programme which draws upon the expertise of the experienced co-ordinators to ensure an array of enjoyable activites such as sand castle building, water sports, tiny tots tennis, scavenger hunts and much more.
While the kids are enjoying Quest Club, parents can be out fine-tuning their swing on the two nearby championship golf courses or hitting the water for a spot of snorkelling, scuba diving or catamaran cruises. Surf lessons are available for both adults and children and, since 2015, there has been a FlowRider on the property.
Once you've had your fill of the fine facilities there's a range of restaurants with a wide variety of food to enjoy. SeaGrille, Serendipity 3 and Beaches (where kids have their meals served in fun beach pails) all offer a unique selection of fresh, tasty dishes. To wash it down guests can always head to Ocean Bar which provides a variety of cocktails, wines and grappas.
