Not that a guest staying here necessarily needs to leave the incredible resort. It’s got 1,500 guest rooms, first-class surroundings and a stunning view of the area’s unparalleled setting which just so happen to be an international class golf course. From the flawlessly cut greens to the glorious cypress trees and flourishing natural vegetation it is as splendid a setting as any golfer could hope to swing a club in.
Not that the area is all about opulent contemporary surroundings it does have something of a history to it as well. The Rosen Shingle Creek takes its name from the creek which flows through the resort. Early explorers in the area were attracted to the location due its remarkable aesthetic beauty. The creek was later used for fishing and trapping logging trees. The trees were then made into shingles for early settler's homes and thus the name Rosen Shingle Creek.
