Golfing at Heritage Awali

All guests will have unlimited free green fees to one of the best golf courses in the Indian Ocean - Le Château Golf Course and Le Château Par 3 Golf Course. Lakes, streams and tropical trees adorn the lush and landscaped grounds of the 27-holes. Additionally, the first links-style 18-hole championship course in the Indian Ocean is opening in December 2023 - La Réserve Golf Links. This course is exclusively reserved for Heritage guests and members. Paying green fees will include a welcome gift, shared buggy with GPS, range balls and a halfway refreshment; however these are all available with one round of golf if you choose the Premium All Inclusive package.

Seven Colours Spa at Heritage Awali

A morning sunbathing by the pool or swimming in the aquamarine ocean is a wonderful way to spend your time, matched by other indulgent options like experiencing a treatment at Seven Colours Spa. This spa has been designed with an African village in mind, where you are pampered within quaint exotic huts within the lush greenery. You can make the most of the vitality or chilled pools, sauna and 2 hammams to enjoy.

As part of your stay, all guests over 12 years old can avail of one complimentary 45 minute massage, and for children 3 to 11 a 20 minute massage, at the beginning of their stay. 

Abundance of Activities

A number of recreational activities are on offer including archery, tennis, badminton, speedminton, table tennis, bocce ball, beach volleyball and access to the Sports Centre Umuzi with various gym classes, spin classes, Zumba and aqua yoga. For aquanauts, a wide range of complimentary water activities are on offer including electric boat trips, laser sailing, kayaking, pedalos with electric assistance, snorkelling trips, and traditional fishing in the lagoon. Additional fees apply to waterskiing & wakeboarding, windsurfing, kite surfing, catamaran cruising, watching and swimming with dolphins.

The resort is well-placed for explorations of the gorgeous island terrain, and guests can take advantage of a visit to Le Château de Bel Ombre, escaping for one magical night to experience a sublime dinner followed by an overnight stay there, and enjoying a sumptuous breakfast on the terrace the next morning, at a small supplemental charge. Heritage Awali guests also have access to the facilities of the Domaine de Bel Ombre including C Beach Club, Heritage Golf Club, and the Heritage Nature Reserve complete with eco quad and buggy tours, wellness walks, UNESCO Biosphere nature treks, Mauritius Wildlife Foundation nature trails with potential supplementary charges apply depending on package.

Additional Information

Please note: Guests may also access sister resort Heritage Le Telfair’s restaurants & bars although reservation is necessary and with an additional cost. Heritage Le Telfair's other facilities such as swimming pools, health club and spa are not accessible for Heritage Awali guests. Guests can make use of inter-spa facilities at both resorts according to availability.

Please note: with regards to evening dining dress code - gentlemen are required to wear collared shirts, trousers (and in some restaurants bermuda shorts) and closed shoes. In relation to adult only restaurants, Zafarani is available for those guests over 12 years old only.
