Your villa will a tropical home away from home, and one you’ll never want to leave. The 25 villas on the northwest tip of the island are nestled amongst the wild green vegetation and are steps away from the softest, whitest sand you will ever see.

Privately owned by a family that have invested in sustainable tourism, their mission is to conserve Denis Island’s natural beauty and protect its unique charm. The island uses organic methods for rearing their own cattle, and growing their own fruits and vegetables in fertile soil, ensuring the most fresh, delicious ingredients for their guests. Fish is caught in their own waters and eggs and milk are all fresh from their animals. For sumptuous spa treatments, the islands uses its own coconuts for massage oil and fine sand from the beaches. Denis island’s has also invested into the use of photo-voltaic solar array (the country’s largest private renewable energy investment) which will continuously reduce and eventually eliminate the island’s reliance on diesel power.

Unlike most retreats, this island has no paved roads and no televisions, just meandering paths and the sounds of nature. The clear-as-crystal waters are idyll for a day of sunbathing, and even better for scuba diving and exploring the magical reefs. The hotel’s pool also offers a tranquil setting for those looking to sit back and relax on their holiday to the Seychelles. With the slow pace of life, take a stroll around the island’s dense woods, check out the Old Village craft workshops, visit the farm or the giant tortoise colony or enjoy a few games of tennis or snooker in the Library. This is inclusive of all types of luggage a client may be carrying. We recommend that clients travelling to Denis Private Island carry soft luggage (checked luggage) and should they have hand luggage this should be a small light handbag only.
