Tamarind Village
Nestled into the heart of Chiang Mai’s old town, Tamarind Village lies where the history and culture of the fascinating north of Thailand are the most lively and vibrant. The surrounding temples and shopping streets invite to a deep dive into the capital of this unique part of the country. The Tamarind Village’s 42 guest rooms and three suites reflect the rich ethnic diversity of the region by using fabrics and patterns drawn from the various tribes of the region.
With spectacular annual events such as the Chiang Mai Flower Festival or the Bor Sang Umbrella Festival at the hotel’s doorsteps, it plunges you into the colourful epicentre of the thriving city life.
The Tamarind Village’s serene and tranquil garden courtyards surrounding an ancient, 200-year-old tamarind tree in its middle offer a welcome counter balance to the flood of new impressions and experiences.
The hotel also hosts special activities to coincide with festive dates to compliment those held elsewhere around the city.
