Dogtown Coffee

Named for the 70s skateboarding greats the Z-Boys and their stomping grounds known as “Dogtown,” Dogtown Coffee pays homage to the American skateboard and surfing history that unfolded right in the local neighborhood. The Miramar is proud to be the first outpost of this locals’ go-to, inspired by the Boys. Visit for early morning coffee and grab-‘n-go beach favorites like breakfast burritos, wraps & smoothies throughout the day.

The Bungalow

This sprawling indoor-outdoor lounge, furnished in a Baja chic style, oozes a classic Santa Monica vibe. From cozy indoor rooms with fireplaces, couches and a billiards table to the expansive outdoor deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean, you're sure to find a favorite spot for a drink and some bar bites.

Soko Sushi

Everyone loves sushi, but few know this culinary delight dates back almost 2000 years. Well before refrigeration, Japanese fisherfolk preserved fish by wrapping it in fermented rice and salt, calling it “Narezushi.” Kept in darkened storerooms, Narezushi was perfected over the centuries until now, when modern sushi has been elevated to an art form. Soko, the latest sushi restaurant at Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows, is a literal tribute to the origins of sushi. The name “Soko” means “storeroom,” and Soko is, in fact, set in a simple storeroom on the main-floor lobby.
