John Muir Lodge
With its stone and timber build, John Muir Lodge beautifully blends into the earthy, rugged surrounding landscapes of Kings Canyon National Park. The lodge lies in Grant Grove Village, just minutes from the historic Grant Grove which is home to the enormous General Grant Tree. It’s the largest park in the hotel and offers plenty of space and facilities for families to relax.
There are 36 rooms at John Muir Lodge. The rooms featuring a king-size bed are ideal for couples, with families comfortably accommodated in those with two queen-size beds. Other room facilities include a private bathroom, TV, mini fridge, coffee maker, and daily housekeeping service.
The restaurant next door to the lodge serves up family-friendly food and offers American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There’s also a seasonal espresso bar on the patio. Spend cosy evenings in the communal lobby room or in one of the lodge’s porches and terraces. And pick up groceries and other items in Grant Grove Village, just a few minutes’ walk from the lodge.
