Accommodation at Tenaya Lodge

Tenaya lodge offers a range of accommodations to suit all travellers, from comfortable Lodge Rooms to luxurious Cottages. Capturing the majestic allure of the High Sierra mountains, the Lodge Rooms beckon with warmth and spectacular vistas of the mountainous terrain. The Lodge Suites blend contemporary design with a rustic mountain essence, ushering guests into unparalleled luxury. For bigger families and groups, the modern two-bedroom cabins offer breathtaking views of alpine expanses and untouched wilderness. A scenic ten-minute stroll from the main lodge along a tranquil trail will lead you to the Explorer Cabins and Clubhouse. Tucked amidst untouched pine and cedar woods, every Tenaya Cottage Room and Suite provides a peaceful haven, complete with a fireplace and a private balcony or patio.

Dining at Tenaya Lodge

Explore a variety of Yosemite restaurants and dining opportunities at Tenaya Lodge, from made-to-order grilled burgers and sandwiches in Jackalope’s Bar & Grill, to artisanal brick-oven pizzas at the Timberloft Pizzeria and barbecue classics at Gold Rush BBQ. Enjoy elevated dining at their signature restaurant, Embers, which features an exclusive four-course and seven-course tasting menu. The restaurants at Tenaya Lodge emphasise locally sourced products, and gluten-free and vegan options.

Things to do at Tenaya Lodge

Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite provides many activities for guests to optimise their stay at Yosemite. As well as two heated swimming pools (one indoor and one outdoor), the hotel offers a host of activities. Adults and children can take part in archery, rock climbing and lots of other fun activities. Guests can hire mountain bikes to cycle around the park, even go fishing with their rented fishing gear. During the winter season, Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite also has an ice rink and a host of winter- activities including some great skiing.

Guests will have the opportunity to visit parts of the park with some of Tenaya Lodge’s local expert guides. The resort hosts tours throughout the day to some of Yosemite’s notable landmarks, including to Glacier Point. They also offer nighttime outings with their flashlight and starry night tours. Equestrians can saddle up for a horse-led excursion around Yosemite Valley. Guests who would rather opt out of nature walks and hikes can also explore the area on the Yosemite Valley tram.

Know Before You Go

It is standard practice for resorts/hotels within the USA to charge a mandatory resort fee which is payable locally. Cottage Room

Tenaya at Yosemite’s Cottage Rooms are part of a duplex or triplex cottage building offering 335 square feet of studio-style rooms with One king-sized bed or two queen-size beds, nestled into the sugar pine and incense cedar forest offering a more secluded mountain getaway. The magic of Tenaya can be best described as “at ease.” It’s an effortless, peaceful feeling and just a short walk from the main lodge.

Premium Room - Two Queen Beds

A Tenaya at Yosemite Extended Queen Room is perfect for families. They boast an exceptional array of Deluxe and Premium Room amenities, along with breathtaking views. The Extended Queen includes an additional 100 square feet of living space, with 450 square feet of total space. Now this is how you experience Yosemite.

Family Cabin

Tenaya at Yosemite Family Cabins are unique to the resort property, conveniently offering a bunk bed in the second bedroom. With a full bed on the bottom and a twin on top, this room is perfect for guests of all ages. The floorplan is the same as the Premium Cabins, but with a shower tub in the bathroom instead of the shower-only arrangement in the Premium and Deluxe Cabins. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy Yosemite in all its glory.
