A Manor of Taste, Royal Palms provides an engaging and unforgettable journey for all senses. Set at the foot of Camelback Mountain, the Royal Palms Resort and Spa is an elegant Spanish Colonial-style hotel. Once a former 1920’s home and wellness retreat built by Delos Cooke - so his wife could enjoy the healing properties of the Arizonian desert - its Alvadora Spa, luxury historic rooms and suites and farm-to-table fresh dining now offers a tranquil, romantic retreat.
Designed with elegant European furnishings, rooms at the Royal Palms are spacious with views of the mountains or the pretty courtyard gardens and finished with historic touches. Plush bedding, luxurious amenities, and cosy seating areas offer a homely feel, and ground floor rooms come with pretty, private terraces that lead onto the lush gardens. Larger individual bungalow style Villas offer additional privacy along with crackling fireplaces, vaulted ceilings, and deep bathtubs.
Home to the renowned restaurant T. Cook's, the Royal Palms offers one of the most unique dining spaces in Scottsdale and Phoenix. With high-vaulted ceilings, Andalusian style patios with views of Camelback Mountain and cosy fireplaces, T.Cook’s is open from early brunch through to dinner, serving Mediterranean dishes with a Southwestern twist - full of bold flavours and locally sourced ingredients. Or enjoy snacks and cocktails around the palm tree-lined pool from the Cabana Cafe.
There’s plenty to enrich your stay at the Royal Palms. Chill out at the beautiful pool area with comfortable loungers, cabanas, and a tranquil atmosphere. Rejuvenate at The Alvadora Spa with organic treatments and stay active with yoga in the gardens or classes in the well-equipped fitness centre. Take a cooking class to learn Mediterranean and regional Southwestern cooking techniques from the expert chefs at T. Cook's. Or head out to explore the Scottsdale and Phoenix area, including art galleries, shopping, and cultural experiences, hiking trails and the many nearby championship golf courses.
