Palm Island Resort Facilities

Water sports, tennis and croquet aside, another must-do on the island is the walking tour. Choose from three nature trails which will guide you through the island's lush vegetation and exceptional fauna such as indigenous iguanas and exotic birds, or alternatively choose the biking and hiking trails. On your tour you will also see other Grenadine archipelago islands on the horizon; boat excursions there can be organised. Take part in a variety of excursions, inclusing swimming with turtles. If you can't tear yourself away from the beach, enjoy a meal at one of two beachside restaurants or book a private hammock picnic for two. Guests can even use the thatched-roof beach pavillion for yoga and meditation.

Palm Island Resort Spa & Honeymoons

Guests can now enjoy the brand new Spa by Palm Island Resort, which enjoys a stunning location with two double treatment rooms plus an additional room dedicated to manicures & pedicures. The first treatment room offers a Jacuzzi on the terrace overlooking the ocean ideal for star gazing, while the second treatment room boasts a tub on the deck: the perfect spot for a soak and glass of Champagne whilst watching the Grenadines sunset. Needless to say, the Palm Island is a dream-like location for people in love. Its romantic setting and rich scenery makes it a perfect place to say "I do". Special wedding, honeymoon and anniversary packages are available. The adult only policy of this hotel means that children must be twelve years of age or older.

Palm View

Eight comfortable and well-appointed Palm View Rooms are tucked into four buildings amid the gardens. All offer a sitting area and a private furnished terrace with views of the swimming pool or the beach. Palm View Rooms also feature a king-size bed--four with romantic canopies--along with a spacious bathroom equipped with a deep-soaking tub and a separate shower. Palm View Rooms featured louvered windows which allow the trade winds to pass through and portable air conditioners to supplement in the dryer and warmer seasons.  To accommodate additional guests, these units are equipped with pull-out beds. Each spacious 450 square foot room features air-conditioning along with charming rustic touches, including peaked roofs with exposed beams, woven rattan ceilings and island-style ceiling fans.

Superior Beachfront

These newly refurbished single story duplex 450 sq. ft. rooms feature modern Caribbean styled architecture, cool white tile flooring and stone accents throughout. Floor to ceiling sliding glass doors open onto a private walled patio with beach shower, offering additional outdoor living space and direct beachfront access. Each unit has king bed with individually controlled air conditioning, plush bathrobes, magnifying bath mirror, complimentary beverages in refrigerated mini-bar, nightly turndown service, personal safe, hair dryer, coffeemaker, kettle, alarm clock, iron/ironing board, room to room telephone & rainfall walk in shower.

Sea Grape Suite


Suites top the charts with their 560 sq ft of living space, and are identical in their amenities to the Plantation Suites with the exception of their featured king-size beds instead of two queen-size beds. Each Seagrape Suite also offers elegant appointments, beautiful rattan furnishings, a separate sitting area, as well as a bathroom with a double shower, and a covered, furnished terrace or balcony with beautiful views of the gardens or the ocean.

Beachfront Room

Offering the utmost in serenity and Caribbean charm, 20 Beachfront Rooms are welcoming, comfortable escapes for couples. The rooms are housed in 10 buildings set side by side along the beach. Interesting architectural touches, like the exposed beams of the peaked roofs, woven rattan ceilings and rustic ceiling fans, create a rich island feeling. Indoors, a comfy king-size bed awaits, along with a small sitting area and a bathroom with shower. Beachfront Rooms featured louvered windows which allow the sea breezes to pass through and portable air conditioners to supplement in the dryer and warmer seasons.  Each air-conditioned room provides approximately 450 square feet of living space and a lovely, private terrace with terrific views of the Caribbean and nearby Union Island.

Island Loft

With about 514 square feet of living space, Palm Island's five Island Lofts provide an abundance of charm and privacy. All feature peaked roofs and breezy louvered windows. The tropical feeling is accentuated by rattan furniture and bold, colorful fabrics. Three of the Island Lofts perch above the ground on stilts, set back from the beach amid lush gardens, and are furnished with queen-size beds, sitting areas, deep-soaking tubs, separate showers, private terraces and ocean views. Another two lofts are set right on the beach. These feature king-size beds, deep-soaking tubs, separate showers, private terraces and views that look out across the water toward the Tobago Keys. All lofts, whether on the beach or within the gardens feature louvered windows which allow the island breezes to pass through and portable air conditioners to supplement the breezes in the dryer and warmer seasons.

Royal Palm Bar

For pre-dinner cocktails, visit the Royal Palm Bar and try one of a festive array of blender cocktails, like The Palm Sling, a delightful and potent concoction of white rum, cherry brandy, Cointreau, lime juice, pineapple juice and Grenadine syrup. You'll also find local beer, top-shelf liquor and more.

Royal Palm Restaurant

You'll feel more than welcome at the elegant Royal Palm restaurant, where you can enjoy beautiful ocean views and sea breezes along with breakfast, lunch and dinner. For breakfast, choose from a medley of appealing selections designed to pique your appetite, including seasonal fruits, fresh-baked croissants, banana pancakes, "Eggs Benedict" or a made-to-order omelet. The extensive lunch menu includes everything from crisp, cool salads and tasty pizzas to fresh pastas and island-influenced specialties like Caribbean Jerk chicken. To enjoy a perfect picnic in paradise, for a surcharge, you can order up a festive lunch and enjoy it in romantic seclusion on one of the resort's five beaches. For your evening meal, romance is definitely on the menu. Dining is by lamplight, and the soundtrack includes the sea. The a la carte menu offers an amalgam of the best international dishes, enhanced by fresh island ingredients and culinary styles.

Sunset Grill

Set right on the sand, the Sunset Grill is also open daily for lunch and dinner by reservation, with an extensive menu and tables indoors and on the beach. You can't beat the location, or the company of visiting yachtsmen who flock here for an informal meal in good company. To keep your strength up between meals, Palm Island offers a traditional daily afternoon tea, with finger sandwiches, cool and hot beverages, and tasty sweets. Dinner is offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays by reservation for guests who prefer an a la carte menu to the BBQ/Caribbean Buffet.

Sunset Grill Bar

Join your fellow guests for evening sundowners at the cozy Sunset Grill, the beachfront bar, where you can kick off your flip-flops and enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, shared in a social atmosphere.
