Legoland Florida
The largest Lego park in the world, Legoland Florida has been specially designed with younger kids in mind (2-12 years old) and it offers a perfect day out for younger families visiting Orlando.
Part of Merlin Entertainments Group, the world's second largest attractions operator, Legoland Florida takes up the site of the historic Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven. In doing so, the park has one of the most beautiful settings in the Sunshine State, weaving its way through this former horticultural masterpiece including the huge Banyan tree.
Learning experiences at Legoland
Your visit to Legoland Florida will start once you are dropped into Fun Town, where you could see how the iconic little Lego bricks are made from beginning to end. In Miniland USA you’ll lose yourself wandering through famous monuments such as the Statue of Liberty and the Kennedy Space Centre - all built from tiny Lego bricks, of course, and using just over 30 million of them.
Lego Rides
Meanwhile the Lego Kingdoms brings the first of the “pink-knuckle” roller coasters that have been designed to give younger audiences a taste of the big thrills of the infamous Floridian white-knuckle roller coasters. Coastersauraus in the Land of Adventure weaves in and out of life-sized Lego dinosaurs.
Jump into a Lego Safari car and explore the wilds of Africa with moving Lego animals. If you fancy a bit of speed, take a ride in the Lego Technic Test Track and feel the power of acceleration as you race a life-sized Lego Technic vehicle along a roller coaster.
Lego for the Youngest
In Lego City - a scaled down town made from Lego for little ones - you could compete with other families in the Rescue Academy to be the first to put out a fiery blaze.
Moreover, at the Driving School and Junior Driving School kids aged 3-5 can experience a real-life driving test and even pick up a license for proof.
There is also a boating school where kids can captain their own mini Lego boats, whilst at the Flying School a suspended steel roller coaster gives the experience of flight.
With over 50 rides, live shows and the largest Lego store in the world, Legoland Florida ignites the imagination like no other theme park. Be your own world-creators, whether it's building with the little bricks at home or seeing those same little bricks turned into life-size Lego cars to be raced.
We offer some fantastic resort options in Kissimmee, Orlando, only a short distance to Legoland Florida.
