Between November and February the weather in Thailand is not too hot and it rains the least. Besides, this period is also the main season for festivals in Thailand. The rainy season runs roughly from July to October and, despite its bad name, it may the best time to visit Thailand if what you want is to avoid crowds.

Temperatures are also the coolest and the landscape is heavenly lush and green. Places in southern Thailand such as Phuket, Krabi or Koh Samui have moderate temperatures all year round, what makes them an ideal choice for the period between May and March, when temperatures in the northern regions may go over 40°C.
