Savanna Private Game Reserve

5* out of 5 stars

The Savanna Private Game Reserve is a deluxe five-star lodge sitting in the world-renowned Sabi Sand Reserve in South Africa. It is located inside the flourishing plain of Kruger National Park conservancy, home to some of the world’s rarest animals: lions, leopards, buffalo, rhino and elephants.

Specifically designed game viewing vehicles and experienced guides are on hand at the park to take guests as close as possible to some of the planet’s most incredible creatures.

The lodge itself boasts nine splendid suites and expansive accommodation. Of the nine suites, seven have tented roofs, which combine the grand elegance of the colonial era with the convenience of contemporary facilities.

The reserve is also a terrific place for families. Children of all ages will enjoy bird watching, butterfly catching and picnics in the bush. Local guides will be happy to take families on tours of the nearby village, featuring traditional dancing, culinary treats and tours of the nursery school.

The stunning surroundings of the private reserve is also the ideal place to host an idyllic wedding ceremony. Three possible settings await: at the side of a swimming pool with a waterhole in the background, a clearing in the bush or on the deck of the lounge area.
