Things to do whilst on holiday
Along with the four major theme parks and two great water park destinations, you’ll also be able to experience Disney’s Wide World of Sports; two-hundred acres of sports ground to explore and see some great events, such as the Atlanta Braves Spring Training!
For a little retail therapy why not amble your way to Downtown Disney – with the name of a district in a vast metropolis, this area will provide a great retail experience for all the family.
Golfers will also be in great company, as four lush championship golf courses and one walking course will furnish your trip with golfing pleasure. Make par, score a birdie, or search for that elusive albatross as you endeavour to master these fine courses.
With a monorail, ferryboats aplenty and Disney buses all included with your ticket to the complex it’ll be so easy to fit in every activity, ride, and experience before you have to grudgingly go home. We guarantee you’ll go home happy, but you’ll surely be unhappy to leave behind this fabulous world!
Weather
Here at Walt Disney World you can expect the usual sunny and warm Floridian climate. With two distinct seasons: one hot and wet (June to September) and one warm and dry (October and May), the sun always shines in Orlando. Also, by being nearby the Tropic of Cancer, it’ll be rather humid. This means t-shirts, shorts and sun cream are a must!
