  • Day 1
    Southampton

Step aboard in Southampton & straight into that holiday feeling. No flights, no hassle. Just the excitement of the days ahead and the promise of memorable moment. So, relax and raise a toast as the UK drifts from sight. Before you know it, you'll be watching your destination come into view.

Home of the ill-fated Titanic departure, Southampton has a long maritime history. A castellated old city that has lots of charm, some excellent museums and extensive green spaces, Southampton’s location is also just a short distance away lie some interesting spots. Pre-historic enigma Stonehenge is less than an hour away while the quintessentially English market town Salisbury is perfect for a bit of shopping. Both are well worth a visit. For those who prefer their entertainment crafted by Mother Nature, a short ride to the New Forest will give you peace; think idyllic glades, ancient woodland, open moors, heathland and cliff top walks.

  • Day 2
    Vlissingen, (Zeeland), Netherlands

The city of Vlissingen was historically known as “Flushing” in English. Vlissingen’s harbour was so significant throughout history that the city received its own English name. In fact, Flushing, New York was named after Vlissingen. The maritime history of Vlissingen goes back many centuries and is very much part of the culture, as a popular local pass-time is to watch ships cross the harbour. There is plenty to see and do here, including visiting the oldest surviving sea fort in all of Western Europe, Fort Rammekens and the Maritime muZEEum.

  • Day 3
    Amsterdam, Netherlands

As capital cities go, Amsterdam is small in comparison. It has a reputation for free-spirited and very liberal lifestyles. Some might call it Europe's most "radical" city, but one cannot deny the beauty of Amsterdam and its rich history. Amsterdam is a cultural centre of Europe, as exemplified in its more than 140 art galleries and 40 museums. In addition, it is famous for its baroque architecture, canals, and cobblestone streets where the favoured mode of transportation is the bicycle.

  • Day 4
    Bruges (Zeebrugge), Belgium

Linked by the Baudouin Canal, this medieval town is the stuff of fairytale and storybooks. Cobblestone streets, old, historic churches and a dreamy landscape make this a very sought after destination - especially during the summer months. Stroll through the Market, a bustling plaza where the rhythmic beat of horse-drawn carriages echoes off a soaring belfry tower. Dig into sweet Belgian waffles and stop by the renowned chocolate boutiques on your cruise to Bruges. Or, take a scenic cruise through the medieval city of Ghent, Belgium and discover important landmarks, including Chinese Teahouses, 13th-century monasteries and castles of the Counts.

  • Day 5
    Dunkirk, France

Site of Operation Dynamo, the mass evacuation of Allied soldiers in May 1940 recently spotlighted by Christopher Nolan’s 2017 film, Dunkirk is awash in wartime history and Flemish-influenced cuisine. Visit the non-profit Mémorial du Souvenir to learn about the evacuation – it’s housed in Bastion 32, a 1874-built coastal defence base, that was Allied and French headquarters during Operation Dynamo. You’ll hear the chiming bells of UNESCO World Heritage–listed Le Beffroi before you see its 50 bells for yourself; keep climbing for a view that stretches the English Channel. Nearby is Église St-Éloi and its glorious stained glass and massive pipe organ. If it’s a French beach you seek, head to Malo-Les-Bains for a swim and an appreciation of the shoreline’s history.

  • Day 6
    Paris (Honfleur), France

The peaceful setting of the picturesque port of Honfleur along the Seine attracted many artists and writers over the years. Throughout its history, numerous maritime journeys were initiated from Honfleur. It is especially known for its old, beautiful picturesque port, characterised by its houses with slate-covered frontages.
From here, explore D-Day landing beaches and Paris.

Enjoy an overnight here to experience everything this destination has to offer.

  • Day 7
    Paris (Honfleur), France

Continue exploring all this beautiful destination has to offer on your second day here.

  • Day 8
    Paris (Honfleur), France

Continue exploring all this beautiful destination has to offer on your third day here.

  • Day 9
    Cherbourg, France

Cherbourg is one of France’s great Channel ports and a cornerstone of French naval history, where yachts bob beside attractions like Le Redoutable nuclear submarine museum and La Cité de la Mer aquarium. Among the sites you may visit is the famed Cité de la Mer, a spacious Art Deco Gare Maritime building where ocean liner passengers embarked and disembarked – including those of the Titanic. Crêperies and restaurants serving regional cuisine line the narrow streets in the old town.

  • Day 10
    Saint-Malo, France

Explore this fascinating fortified town or discover the lovely medieval town of Dinan and its impressive clock tower and picturesque half-timbered houses. Drive along the rugged Brittany coast and savour the stunning view of mystical Mont St. Michel before wandering through its steep winding streets and the maze-like abbey passages.

Disembark in Southampton, ensuring a hassle free end to your holiday.
