Aquatica Rides

If you're looking for rides of all speeds, thrills for every taste, and experiences that are both tranquil and exhilarating, then Aquatic is the water park for you.

The Cutback Cove and Big Surf Shores are two side-by-side wave machines that really encapsulates Aquatica’s ability to cater for everyone. The Cutback Cove is always rolling for an action-packed high-level wave ride, while the Big Surf Shores can be high, or slow and easy, depending on how you’re feeling on the day.

Another fantastic experience that has no age limit is The Dolphin Plunge, where you’ll shoot through underwater tubes to a pod of equally speedy Commerson’s Dolphins. Take a glimpse of their slick black and white skin and rapid fins zooming by.

Haven't you had enough? Slide through huge flumes into massive funnels at Omaka Rocka, glide around Roa’s Rapids, shoot into the Loggerhead Lane lazy river with Tassie’s Twisters, race family and friends headfirst down the Taumata Racer slides or go through a six-story maze with the family at Walhalla Wave & HooRoo Run – what a ride!

Children will love the easygoing Kata’s Kookaburra Cove, the Loggerhead Lane lazy river and the Walkabout Waters' 15,000 square foot kids' water park.

Animal Attractions

There’s nothing quite like going to a water park and seeing some of the fascinating species that share this planet with us, and at Aquatica you will not be disappointed. Along with the unique and speedy Commerson’s Dolphins you’ll encounter a lagoon of tropical fish, long-legged wading Spoonbill birds, tortoises, macaws, and ant-eating Tamanduas.

Private Cabanas

A private cabana offers a great way to relax, providing you with a sense of ease and privacy in the middle of a public water park. Aquatica has a range of relaxation/lounge options to suite all budgets. You’ll be able to choose the basic Island Loungers, Standard Cabana for added privacy, Pool View Cabana, Premium Cabana with upgraded furniture and the Ultimate Cabana with a dining table for six which includes a second cabana with couch, coffee table and more seating. All options include towels, with the Premium and Ultimate including water too.
